[Holiday Farmhouse from the drive] Our holiday farmhouse in cornwall looks westward and often benefits from glorious sunsets over the sea. From the garden, walk up the lane onto the moorland of Woon Gumpus Common where National Trust paths will lead you to Chûn Quoit and the ruins of Chûn Castle, from which, on a clear day, you can see across to both coasts. In the nearby village of Pendeen is a former tin mine. Geevor now offers a fine museum and underground tours. There is an historic working beam engine nearby at Levant. Pendeen has an excellent corner shop, three pubs (all within walking distance of Bojewyan), a meadery and a friendly, family-run restaurant.
Just across the fields and down the cliffs is beautiful Portheras Cove, a favourite beach for many people because it is peaceful and secluded. Portheras can be reached either by walking down from the cottage or driving part-way. There are also pretty 'sandy coves' near Pendeen Lighthouse.
The town of St. Just is ten minutes' drive away, with shopping, pubs and restaurant facilities, and also a golf course and health club. Sennen Cove, the famous surfing beach, is twenty-five minutes drive and Land's End thirty minutes, as is St. Ives. Driving into Penzance, the major town in West Cornwall, takes twenty minutes.

Living Room:

Spacious open-beamed with inglenook fireplace which is something quite exceptional as it has an original cloam oven (used for bread baking long ago and now increasingly rare, one other being in the museum at Zennor), stone seat and open fire. Wide-Screen TV, DVD Player, and Sky Box (bring your own card).

Kitchen/Dining Room:

Oil-Fired Rayburn which supplies partial central heating. There is fridge, dishwasher, combination microwave and oven, electric oven and gas hob.

Bedrooms:

Large double bedroom with sea views from two windows.
Double bedroom with two windows. Direct sea views from the "nook and cranny" window.
Twin bedroom with low beamed ceiling. Sea views from one bed!

Bathroom:

With bath and large separate walk-in shower

Utility Room:

With automatic washing machine/dryer and freezer.

Outside:

There is a private drive with parking for two cars at the front of the house. The front garden is enclosed by granite walls and trees and is mainly lawned. At the back of the house is a courtyard with washing line.

Holiday Bookings

Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. A well behaved pet welcome by prior arrangement. Our holiday lettings are inclusive of bed linen. Please bring your own towels.
